A
simple, passive product using two phases of a three-phase
supply as input and a single-phase output. If one phase in
interrupted, you still have clean constant power out of the
RTD....Even if the remaining phase drops by a third.
This
combination works perfectly since the heavy (motor, pump,
conveyor, etc.) loads are not normally affected by power anomalies.
So, a small RTD is only used to keep continuous single-phase
power going to the more sensitive process controls.

Over 60% of voltage sags involve only one phase. Two
phases rarely sag at the same time
What this means is with an RTD your process controls
will hardly ever see any power disturbances (short of
a complete three-phase power loss). Processes stay running
during otherwise costly power variations.
Easy
Installation
The RTD is wired in front of the existing control
transformer in the machine. Since the RTD is only
protecting the process controls, a small 1 kVA
model is normally sufficient. No need to oversize
to accommodate heavy load inrush current demands.
Model Selection? Simply pick your voltage input/output
& load. |
Power
Conditioning
Unsurpassed protection from overvoltage spikes
and surges, brownouts and transient noise. Primary
and Secondary are completely isolated, preventing
noise from traveling back and forth either way. |
